The Anglican Church in Tonga’s long-held aspiration for greater self-governance has entered a significant new chapter following the passing of Motion 15 at the 67th General Synod Te Hīnota Whānui this August. 

Bishop Te Kitohi Pikaahu, host to General Synod/Te Hinota Whanui in Waitangi, extends full manaakitanga (hospitality) to all synod members in this sermon delivered on Sunday, 11 May.
