We are looking for an exceptional and dynamic Executive Assistant to join the leadership team for Philip Richardson, the newly elected Anglican Archbishop of the New Zealand Dioceses. The successful applicant will have a key role enabling the Archbishop to manage multiple demands and relationships. This role is based in New Plymouth. Key attributes for the successful applicant will include:

Essential

1. Methodical and well organized with the ability to develop, apply and maintain systems

2. Disciplined and able to manage multiple work-streams and priorities

3. Able to work under pressure and to tight deadlines

4. Able to work independently and proactively

5. High level of attention to detail

6. Able to deal with professionally and personally sensitive issues with empathy, discretion and confidentiality

7. Excellent communicator

8. Technologically astute

9. Patient and diplomatic in dealings with people and key stakeholders

10. Able to nurture relationships

11. Able to recognise and utilise the best attributes of those around them

12. Project management capability 

13. Able to travel occasionally

14. Able to manage a team and confident delegating tasks appropriately

Desirable

15. Knowledge of and commitment to the mission, values and structures of the Anglican Church

16. NGO / Volunteer experience
