Nelson appoints a new dean

The Rev Nick Kirk has accepted the call to be Nelson Cathedral's new Dean. His installation will be after Easter.

He is married to Kim and together they have six children. Nick is now in his sixth year at Christ Church, Wanganui.

Nick was a registered nurse before ordination. Now, with ten years of ministry under his belt, he says it has been the most satisfying period of his working life. 

"What better way is there to live life than by following Jesus?" Nick says.
