Bikers touring the country to rev up awareness of child refugees stopped off at Wellington Cathedral of St Paul this week.
Rob Harley and Stu Corlett (now based in Thailand) are heading a bunch of seven big bikes to promote awareness of children caught up in Burma’s on-going fighting.
They swung into the forecourt of Wellington Cathedral on Thursday night to open an art exhibition by the Burmese children.
Sponsored by Partners Relief and Development New Zealand, “Hope for the Child of War” draws attention to the plight of children and young people who long for things most of us take for granted – a chance to live and learn in peace.
The exhibition in the cathedral (open daily) runs till 3 December.
